The word "existentialism" means the nature of existence. Depending on the nature of an object, the placement of an object in a place is determined by the environment in which it is kept.
Whether a person’s needs will be fulfilled or not is determined by the environment where they reside. The suitability of a site depends on the surrounding directions to determine whether it is advantageous or disadvantageous. This is because each direction is unique. For example, the east is the direction that brings warmth, while the west is where warmth is lost. Similarly, the north is associated with magnetic energy, while the south is associated with its dissipation.
The eight cardinal directions—north, south, east, west, northeast, northwest, southeast, and southwest—each contain two divisions, resulting in a total of sixteen regions.

வடக்கு, தெற்கு, கிழக்கு, மேற்கு, அல்லாது வடகிழக்கு, வடமேற்கு, தென்கிழக்கு மற்றும் தென்மெற்கு என இருக்கும் எட்டு திசைகள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் தமக்குள் இரண்டு பிரிவுகளாகி பதினாறு பகுதிகளாக உள்ளன.

(விரிவான திசைப்பலன்கள் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது) சத்து வரும் திசைகளிலிருந்து சத்துக்கள் வருவதற்கும் வந்த சத்துக்கள் நிலைப்படுவதற்கும் அவை தமக்குள் சூழன்று சுவாசத்தைப் போன்று வெளிப்படுவதற்கும் புவியின் ஈர்க்கும் தன்மையே காரணமாகிறது.
மேடு, பள்ளம், வெளி இவற்றால் ஏற்படும் புவியின் ஈர்ப்புவிசை வேறுபாடுகளால் சத்துவரும் திசைகளிலிருந்து அதிக ஆற்றலை எடுப்பதும், இழக்கும் திசைகளில் இழப்பின்றியோ குறைவான இழப்பையோ நாம் அமைத்துக் கொள்ள இயலும், இயக்கும் திசைகளின் ஈர்ப்பை நாம் சரியாக அமைத்து இயக்கத்தை சமமாகவோ விரைவாகவோ இயங்கச் செய்ய முடியும்.
ஒருமனை சதுரமாகவோ, செவ்வகமாகவோ அல்லது நாற்கரமாகவோ இருக்கலாம். ஒவ்வொரு பரிமாணத்திலும் அதன்மையத்திலிருந்தே திசைகள் அமைகின்றன. ஒரு நேர்திசைக்கான சதுர மனையில் வடக்கு, கிழக்கு, தெற்கு மேற்கு, திசைகள் அந்ததந்த பக்கங்களின் மையத்திலும் வடகிழக்கு, வடமேற்கு, தென்கிழக்கு, தென்மேற்கு இவைகள் மூலைகளிலும் அமையும்.

திசைகள் அனைத்தும் 360°க்குள் அடங்கும் ஒவ்வொரு திசைப்பிரிவும் 22.5°களாக அமைகின்றன. மனையின் பரிமாணத்தைக் கொண்டும் திசை மாற்றங்களைக் கொண்டும் ஒவ்வொரு மனையும் வேறுபடுகின்றன. இவ்வாறாக உள்ள மனையில் கட்டிடம் கட்ட சரியான பக்க அளவுகளைக் (Set Back) கொண்டு அமைக்க வேண்டும்
முப்பரிமாணமாக உள்ள கட்டிடம் மனையிலிருந்து சுவாசம் பெறுகிறது. அச்சுவாசம் கட்டிடத்தினுள் ஒரு சுழற்சிக்கு 90 நாட்களை எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறது.

தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் நாம் எவ்வாறு உடலையும் குணத்தையும் பெற்றோமோ அதுபோல உறங்குவதற்காக நாம் அமைத்துக் கொள்ளும் கட்டிடங்களும் தாயின் கர்ப்பத்திற்கு ஒப்பாகயிருந்து வசிப்போருக்கு அது எடுக்கும் சத்தைக் கொடுக்கிறது. கட்டிடம் எத்தகைய சத்தைப் பெற்றதோ அத்ததைய தன்மை கொண்டவர்களாகவே அதில் வசிப்பவர் இருப்பர்.
